Today, Into Kildare have rounded up the top festive events in the county this Christmas for everyone to enjoy!

We know it may be a little early to begin the Christmas cheer, but no one said anything about the preparations! Today at Into Kildare we’re bringing you the top festive experiences right here in the Thoroughbred County. So get marking on your Christmas calendar because these events are not to be missed!

The Glenroyal Hotel Christmas Craft Fair

The Glenroyal Hotel would like to invite you to their Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday, November 17th from 10am to 3pm for an afternoon of festive music, bespoke products from creative crafters and skilled food producers.

Don’t miss Santa himself arriving at 12pm at his Grotto! 

The Kildare Christmas Food & Gift Fair

Support local this year and visit The Kildare Christmas Food & Gift Fair, taking place November 28th. Taking place in the Kildare County Council Head Office in Devoy Park, Naas, this is a wonderful free event which will see local craft and food businesses selling seasonal produce and unique gift ideas perfect for the Festive Season.

This event is the perfect day out for all the family to kick off the Christmas celebrations!

The Dew Drop Inn Guinness Book of World Record Attempt

On November 30th the Dew Drop, Kill, in association with CMRF and Crumlin Children’s Hospital will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for “the largest gathering of people dressed as Disney animated characters”!

The attempt will take place in the carpark of the Dew Drop at 3pm. A call has been put out for as many people as possible to dress up in Disney costume, so dig out those Disney dresses and Prince Charming suits and be a part of something unique and special.

On the day there will be a small Christmas market and plenty of games for kids in their indoor carnival with loads of games, cinema room and live music.

Santa’s Magical Trail

Santa’s Magical Trail is back for another year in the Clanard Hotel! Join Santa’s elves on a wonderful journey through Santa’s Magical Trail – a fun filled experience for children young and old!

2019 Dates will be from SATURDAY 30th NOVEMBER, then every Thursday – Sunday until SUNDAY 22nd DECEMBER 2019.

Santa’s Reindeer Hospital

The highly popular Santa’s Reindeer Hospital is back for another year in the Old Courthouse, Kildare Town! More information to follow, stay tuned!

The Osprey Hotel presents: A Christmas Winter Ball with The Swing Cats

Following the successful sell-out of the Olympia Theatre and National Concert Hall, The Swing Cats bring their “THE STORY OF SWING” show to the Osprey Hotel!

Christmas Country Market and Craft Fair at Castletown House
