Belan Lodge is a cosy 4 star bed and breakfast with self catering holiday homes set in a renovated courtyard near a 17th century farmhouse. There are on-site beauty treatments, beautiful walks through unspoiled countryside and the local pub is just a short stroll away.
Belan Lodge consists of refurbished stonework farm buildings set in a large working farm in the countryside. It’s a B&B and also has 5 self catering apartments.The B&B consists of 3 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a dining area and bar. The apartments are one and two bedroom large stonework buildings all tastefully decorated and with all modern conveniences.
The historic courtyard has been restored into four-star self-catering lodges, catering for 2 to 6 people. Belan Lodge and the courtyard date back 300 years and have a rich and varied history linking back to the time of St Patrick and more recently it was home to the Shackleton family.
Strolling around Belan Lodge you will find relics of its ancient history – an old ringfort and an original Millrace are just some of the treasures you will encounter on these ancient lands.
