There is no shortage of spooky things to do in Kildare this Halloween. Whether you’re in search of a kiddies’ pumpkin patch, fun for the whole family or a ghoulish getaway, Kildare has it all. What: Lots of ghastly ghouls and terrifying treats in store at Lullymore including Haunted Holograms with weird but wonderful witches, Terror Train Trips (be prepared for Zombie Attacks!!), Terror Treasure Hunts and freaky fun in the devilish den of the Funky Forest. Prepare for the Fright of your Life and join in with your best fancy dress costume!

What: Join Clonfert Pet Farm for their spooky Halloween Festival if you dare! There is lots of Halloween activities from the pumpkin patch for the kiddies, arts & crafts, kids carnival, kids disco and last but not least the Haunted House if you are brave enough to visit! Prepare for a day of scares and laughs and of course some cute animals around the farm too!

What: If witches and goblins aren’t really your thing why not get more in touch with your arty side with Florence & Milly? In this camp, children are encouraged to express their creativity and learn about mixed media art, drawing, painting, printing techniques, pottery painting and clay handbuilding, combined with food breaks, chill time and games. All mediums and tools are included with the camp. Take a break from the spooky elements of Halloween and treat your little one to a week of fun and creativity.

What: This Halloween the Irish National Stud & Gardens will hold its annual Halloween Spooktacular! Each day join in for spooky crafts, trick or treat magic shows, scary storytelling and much more! Hopefully the horses won’t be too afraid of your little ones however, as they are invited to dress in their scariest outfits! Finally, all ages can explore their spooky tunnel experience. Travel in the darkness and try not to get too scared! All the regular attractions are still available including an opportunity to meet the Living Legends team, join our guided tours, take the fairy trail route or travel along our stepping stones in the Japanese Gardens for hours of outdoor fun. This is a full day out so allow 4/5 hours to really make the most of it. The restaurant will be serving seasonal recipes along with the usual cakes and treats – and for a great warm up, hot chocolate and marshmallows all round
