It’s finally here: the Rose of Tralee Festival 2019 takes place this weekend with the contestants kicking off their Rose Tour with a stop in beautiful County Kildare!
The festival is celebrating its 60th year this year, while this is the third year in a row the prestigious tour has taken a route through Kildare.
Yesterday, Into Kildare welcomed all 32 Roses to Newbridge for a Welcome Reception in St. Conleth’s Park, before they visited Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club, The Curragh Racecourse and Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park.
Kildare Rose Emer said it’s been amazing having the Roses in her hometown.
“It’s such an honour and I genuinely feel so proud to be representing Kildare,” said Emer.
“I feel both at ease and great excitement knowing the Rose Tour started in my home county!”.
