Situated on the grounds of the National Stud, the Japanese Gardens is the perfect place for a relaxing family stroll. Created by Japanese craftsman Tassa Eida and his son Minoru, these stunning meticulous gardens are set to the background sight and sound of the trickling streams and vivid colours of the Japanese Gardens that provide a tranquil backdrop to the beautiful Bridge of Life.

The Kildare Maze Activity Park
Located in Naas, Kildare Maze Activity Park is a great family fun day out. Home to Leinster’s largest hedge maze, this is a fabulous attraction that provides a challenging and exciting day out with good old fashioned fun for families at an affordable price.
If its’ country pursuits you are after, don’t miss Abbeyfield Farm. Nestled in over 240 acres of picturesque Kildare countryside and less than 40 minutes’ drive from Dublin, Abbeyfield offers a day of Horse-riding, and a variety of outdoor pursuits including Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery or Air Rifle Shooting!
Burtown House & Gardens
Surrounded by flower gardens, vegetable patches, parklands and woodland walks, Burtown House & gardens boasts a series of secret gardens, ideal for a wander with the whole family. Part of the pleasure at Burtown is the sense of discovery, for there are a great many features waiting to be found behind hedges and around corners. At their heart is a 300-year-old house surrounded by the legacy of previous generations created by Isabel Shackleton, cousin of the well-known explorer Ernest.
Clonfert Pet Farm

Castletown House & Parklands
Castletown House in Celbridge is the largest and most significant Palladian style country house in Ireland.
