Punchestown is a top highlight in the Kildare events calendar, bringing top-class racing action, live entertainment, and style and glamour all into one. The buzz at Punchestown is like no other, so today we are listing five reasons why you have to nab tickets this year!

1 – Music

Music is a key part of the Punchestown experience and most bars and restaurants will round off an evening of racing with a live music session. One winning tip we can give is to bring your dancing shoes.

From one man bands, two piece chart covers, modern trad, D.J’s spinning floor fillers and a singalong in the Sky Bar that is now a tradition there is something to suit everyone’s musical taste and abilities!

2 – Best Dressed Lady

The stakes are high both on and off the track with the Bollinger Best Dressed competition taking place on the first four days of the Festival. A daily winner will be picked on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with the ‘Grand Finale’ taking place on Friday 29 April. Visit the ‘Style Quarter’ situated in the Bollinger Lounge to ensure that you’re spotted by the judges! Click HERE to find out all you need to know about the Style at Punchestown.

3 – The Bars

Meanwhile in the reserved enclosure the Bollinger Lounge will be the official HQ of all things fashion as the Punchestown Style Quarter. The now famous Sky Bar will be the centrepiece of the social hub at Punchestown, while the Hunt Stand is home to the Festival Bar.

4 – Food

Food, glorious food! And lots of it! With all the excitement of a day at the races and the fun of the Punchestown party it is important to refuel! The Festival is full of delicious eateries throughout the enclosures.
