We couldn’t make an ultimate food & drink bucket list and not include The Auld Shebeen in Athy. How refreshing do these look? They taste even better paired with their Handmade Stone Baked Pizza or renowned Crispy Chicken Wings, the Auld Shebeen have everything you need for the perfect meal out.

Here’s one for the cheese lovers out there! Fallons, Kildare’s premier Michelin recommended food experience has recently added this fabulous dish of Burrata with sundrop and heirloom tomato to their Sunday lunch menu. Fallons not only have a fabulous restaurant but also an impressive outdoor bar and seating area.

Food perfection in Sallins by a husband and wife team mean sated on the double! Seasonality rules in this restaurant and dictates the vegetables and dishes on the menu, which is varied from fresh fish to vegetarian options, all served with dollops of bliss.
An absolute classic, Lock 13 Crispy Potato Skins loaded with melted Dubliner Red Cheddar, crispy Irish bacon, spring onions and topped with a dollop of sweet chilli mayo just had to make it to the food & drink bucket list of Kildare. Located in Sallins, Lock 13 Brew Pub is home to Kildare Brewing Company. Why not pair their delicious dishes with one of their Pale Ales, IPAs or Lagers? With an incredible outdoor dining area, brewery tours and beer tastings it is an experience that cannot be missed!

Led by the talented husband and wife duo, Jordan and Majken Bech Bailey, Aimsir was awarded their Michelin Stars just four months after reopening. Go all out and dine in luxury in The Dining Room in Cunningham’s. A fantastic menu packed full of delicious Thai dishes as well as some European Classics. Don’t get us started on the cocktails! The Dining Room at Cunningham’s is an experience not to be missed for all foodies out there.
