Into Kildare Appoints Chloe McGrory as Tourism Manager

Summary

Into Kildare is delighted to announce the appointment of Chloe McGrory as Tourism Manager, leading the continued growth and promotion of County Kildare as a leading visitor destination.

Into Kildare, the official tourism board for County Kildare, has announced the appointment of Chloe McGrory as Tourism Manager, recognising her significant contribution to the organisation and her growing role in driving the development and promotion of tourism across the county.

Chloe has been part of the Into Kildare team for four years, having previously held the position of Sales and Marketing Executive. During this time, she has played an increasingly important role in supporting the organisation’s work with tourism businesses and stakeholders across the county, while helping to raise the profile of Kildare as a leading destination for domestic and international visitors.

Commenting on the appointment, David Kelly, Chairman of INTO Kildare said:

“We are delighted to announce Chloe’s appointment as Tourism Manager. Chloe has made a significant contribution to Into Kildare since joining the organisation and has developed a strong understanding of our tourism industry, our members and the opportunities that exist across the county. Her enthusiasm for Kildare, combined with her experience, industry relationships and knowledge of destination marketing and development, make her ideally placed to take on this role.”

In her new role, Chloe will work closely with tourism businesses, industry stakeholders and Kildare County Council, to help drive the continued development of tourism across the county and identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Chloe’s appointment comes at an exciting time for tourism in County Kildare, with the county preparing to maximise several significant opportunities, including the National Ploughing Championships in Rathangan in September 2027 and the Irish Open at The K Club, as Kildare benefits from the increased international profile and visitor interest that comes with 2027 being a Ryder Cup year. Alongside these major events, there are continued opportunities to develop and promote Kildare’s food, heritage, golf, equestrian, outdoor and cultural tourism offering.
