Nature Centre currently closed under Level 5 restrictions. Bog walk remains open.

The centre provides a unique focus in educational terms about Irish Peatland Heritage and all aspects of its history folklore nature & wildlife.

Future projects at the site will include:

  • Bog of Allen Habitats
  • Pond Zone
  • Sustainable Gardens
  • Peatland Teaching Lab and Peatlands Research Centre.

The visitor centre has a wide range of themes on the environment.
