Solas Bhride centre is a spiritual centre popular for pilgrimages and tours alike. Run by nuns, they offer tours and invite people to participate in meditation and reflection. A different sort of excursion away from the hustle and bustle of tourists and a great way to learn more about the Patron Saint of Kildare. St. Brigid.

St Brigid’s Trail follows the footsteps of one of our best loved saints through the town of Kildare where walkers can explore this mythical route to discover the legacy of St Brigid. The trail begins at the Kildare Town Heritage Centre and passes through many important sites related to St. Brigid such as the Cathedral and Round Tower and Solas Bhride.
